HAVING TROUBLE PAYING YOUR WATER BILL?

The availability of water service is essential for everyday life, and helping customers who are experiencing hardship is part of KC Water's commitment to give back to the community.

We work with Mid America Assistance Coalition to help customers who are unable to pay their water bills. This needs-based program is available to assist customers esperiencing financial hardship.

To learn more about the program and potential eligibility please call 816-474-5122 or just call 211 from your landline or mobile phone.

Customers who do not qualify for the above needs-based assistance may be eligible for a payment arrangement: A down payment followed by monthly installments to pay the total debt over time. If your water bill shows a past-due amount that you are unable to pay in full, please call 816-513-1313 or 311 to see if you're eligible for a payment arrangement.

(Additional Advice from TCD)

Keep an eye on your water bill so that you are familiar with your normal usage. Spikes in usage may be the result of a leak somewhere.

Notify your landlord if you have leaking faucets or toilet stools that run without being flushed.
